It seems surprising that anyone could dream of having aircraft-carrying submarines, but from the early days of the First World War, the two have been intrinsically linked. From those first attempts to the Japanese-bombing of the Oregon forests during the Second World War, the history of the many submarines and their aircraft is covered in this comprehensive, illustrated volume.
